Why Choose This Month?

APRIL--The best hiking weather & wildflowers galore

MAY--Slightly cooler than the summer with wildflowers

JUNE--Lots of Sun

JULY--Great time of year to enjoy the rapids

AUGUST--Afternoon thunderstorms cool the temperatures down and the possibility of seeing a rimfall makes this a great time.

SEPTEMBER--Like May without the wildflowers

OCTOBER--Great Temperatures but short days

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO RAFT THE GRAND CANYON?

Answer--There is no answer.  Each month is different and has its strong points.  I personally love April, May, and the end of August.
